Sydney at age 3 loves to speak to the family pets in French!

At only 18 months old, Sydney began saying everything in French. Sydney’s practise told us, “We got her MUZZY when she was just 15 months old and in just three months, Sydney was suddenly saying everything in French! Sydney quickly learnt the alphabet, counting and colours in French, even before she ever learnt them in English. She can enjoy it as entertainment but it’s profoundly educational.”

Sydney’s practise reports that Sydney integrates her new language skills in her daily activities and that she particularly enjoys practising her new language skills on the family pets, “Now she speaks to her dog and cat in French, imitating MUZZY. She speaks to her dolls. She takes bits and pieces of MUZZY and incorporates them into her day. One night, Sydney said she wanted ‘glass.’ We scratched our heads to figure out what she meant. Then we realized she was referring to ice cream! (In French it’s ‘glace.’) At 3, she already has the vocabulary to communicate well.”

Sydney developed more than just the ability to speak French with MUZZY says her mother, “My daughter’s love of reading came from MUZZY because learning the alphabet is key to reading, as is the ability to hear differences among words and concepts.”
